In addition, as a testament to how Jack does business, it is remarkable that some members of Tuhavi’s contractors are second and third generation tradesmen whose forefathers have worked with Tuhavi to provide customers with first class craftsmanship.

Our Process

Initially, a client or insurance company contacts Tuhavi Corporation for a discussion of the project. This is followed by an initial site inspection (site inspections and regular conversations with clients are continued throughout the duration of the project). Tuhavi then gives clients an estimate of the cost and duration of the project and will work within the clients’ existing budget.  Tuhavi will also feature a private online viewing of job progression for each client so that they may log on at any time to view the project history.

At the completion of the job, Jack will perform a walk through to ensure that the job meets the quality standards Tuhavi Corporation strives to achieve.

The Origin of “Tuhavi”

Tuhavi is the name of an important Kachina in the Hopi Indian history. Tuhavi or the Paralyzed Kachina represents the tale of a man who is paralyzed and a man who is blind. Together they completed each other’s needs.

The Tuhavi is the paralyzed man, while normally the blind man is the Mud Head (Koyemsi). The Mud Head becomes the paralyzed Kachina’s legs, and the paralyzed Kachina becomes the Mud Head’s eyes. Together, they are able to hunt and live.

This is one of the most sought after and desirable types of Mud head.
